II. Give yourself permission to win

Tell yourself that it’s OK to be successful, to look good and to feel good. This is one of the few times that you can be selfish, but do it to the glory of God. It’s OK to inform family members that you need to do this for you this time. Hopefully they will come on board and support you, but if not, learn to be your own cheerleader. Tell yourself that it’s OK not to want this or that, and you know what? It really is OK not to want “that” anymore, especially if it’s harming you and taking you away from your goals. Only you know how your body process certain things, and if what you’re doing or eating is not working any more, don’t be afraid to let it go. There is life beyond "that." Learn to choose better options. Tell yourself it’s OK to look pretty, to feel pretty and to like what you see in the mirror. I have this make up bag that says, “What makes you feel beautiful?” I like that slogan and am having fun living it out! Feel free to make that your motto! Become comfortable with the idea of winning and make a commitment to stay the distance until you reach your goal. Give yourself permission to win in 2020!
