So often we make our bellies our God (Philippians 3:18-20). Scripture tells us if we sow to the flesh we reap the benefits of the flesh, but if we sow to the spirit we reap the benefits of the spirit (Galatians 6:8). Constantly making the choice to overeat and eating the wrong types of foods leads to obesity and chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, strokes and other chronic diseases. Also it hinders our relationship with God. God says He’s jealous for our affections and that He will not share us with anyone else. I want to encourage you today to choose the right path.
